About Cernobbio

There are few places in Europe that occupy a more idyllic location just an hour north of Milan, and a few minutes from Switzerland. Cernobbio and the surrounding region is famous for its silk, and boasts the summer homes of such famous celebrities as George Clooney, Madonna, and Sylvester Stallone. Cernobbio is located right on the banks of Lake Como, and offers pristine views, fine Italian cuisine, and numerous tourist attractions all year round.

Banking facilities
Banks are usually open Monday through Friday from 8.30 to 13.30 hrs. In the afternoon, the opening hours change from bank to bank but they are usually open from 14.30 to 16.00 hrs.

Cernobbio enjoys a mild climate year round. In November, expect temperatures to hover around 5 to 10 degrees celsius, therefore, packing a warm coat and hat for the evenings would be a wise decision.

BelagioThe Lombardy region occupies the main part of the Po Valley. Its northern borders are formed by the Lepontine, Rhaetian and Orobic Alps. The Renaissance period has left splendid palaces and sumptuous churches. The Lombard painting reached its greatest splendor during the fifteenth century.
